'Jeppo’ is the stalwart of the club, he has been with Carlton all the thirteen years that Tommy has managed. A loyal and dependable defender and a role model to all the young players at the club.
Michael Martin Centre Back 27
Former Ilkeston Town youngster Mike has been at the club for eight years now and has grown into a formidable defender. He was promoted to captain last season, and has relished the responsibility.
Grant Brindley Centre Back 24
Grant has come through the excellent youth policy at Carlton to become a first team regular. Big and commanding, he has a bright future.
Danny Cane Centre Back 25
Dan was signed from Burton Joyce some five years ago as a midfielder. He got converted to centre back and has never looked back since, good in the air and good with the ball.
Martin Ball Midfield 21
‘Bally’ is another one who has come through the Carlton academy, had an excellent first full season two years ago scoring fifteen goals in Carlton’s promotion season. Continued to impress last season, his best is yet to come.
Dean Gent Midfield 23
Genty has been at the club for seven years now. Again coming through the academy, was payers player and managers player of the year during the last promotion season. A great left foot, Dean has now become a pivotal part of Carlton’s midfield.
Aidan Brady Midfield 24
An inspired signing in January 2007,  Aidan provided the vital boost needed for Carlton’s promotion drive, a gifted winger who is easy on the eye and enjoyed a good first season in the Unibond league.
Darrell Thomas Forward 21
Another inspired signing in January 2007 from Hucknall. Darryl’s ten goals helped Carlton clinch promotion, a regular goal scorer in the Unibond league with Shepshed and continued in the same vain for Carlton last season, Darryl was the clubs leading goalscorer.
Phil Bignall Forward 28
‘Bigs’ was signed back on during December 2006 from Sutton, a prolific goal scorer in his previous spell with Carlton helping them to two promotions, a natural goal scorer with a great record.
Steve Chaplin Forward 29
‘Chappo’ was plucked out of non league obscurity from Linby some seven years ago, has been a revelation ever since with his tough, no nonsense approach to the game.
  Ashley Winfield Midfield 19
Ash made his debut for Carlton two seasons ago having starred for the Carlton academy and the reserves, tall, imposing midfielder who is only going to get better. Reserve player’s player of the year last season.
Fabian Smith Right Back 23
Signed from local rivals Arnold Town. Fabian is a talented individual with good feet and will be looking to make an impact in this his second season at Unibond level.
Marquin Smith Midfield 22
Talented midfielder signed from Dunkirk, Made a great impact in his first season in the Unibond league and received players player of the year last season.
Ali Bercherini Goalkeeper 22
Big commanding goal keeper originally signed as back up for Steve Brearley but has recently take the number 1 position, playing with confidence and presence.
Ricky Gardener Midfield 18
Powerful youngster, another who has come through Carlton’s academy system, all action midfield player who can also slot in at the back with ease.
Terry Hawkridge Winger 18
Terry is an exciting young winger who broke into the first team last season, his silky skills make him an exciting option going forward, primarily on the right wing.
James Price Left Back 18
bright young prospect, previously with Nottingham Forest, will be looking to press for a first team place this season.
Tremaine Walters Winger 20
Talented and skilful winger, who has forced his way into the reckoning during pre-season, will be hoping to get some first team chances this season.
Simon Wilkinson Forward 18

Another talented youngster who has pushed on from the academy and is now pressing the recognised strikers for a first team place, outstanding in spells for the reserves last season.


Danny Blair Forward 21
Blair originally joined the club from Nottingham Forest in their promotion season to the Unibond league, banged in a hatful of goals before being picked up by Hednesford. Then had spells at Grantham and Gresley Rovers before returning to the club he calls home.
Steve Fenton Left Back 25
Former Leicester City, Coalville and Oadby Town defender has joined Carlton during the summer after being scouted by Brookbanks and Darryl Claypole. Will be looking to make the left back spot his own this season.
Willis Francis Midfield 23
Francis has spent all his youth at Notts County including making the first team, but was released last year and spent some time at Rugby. Brought in during the summer by Tommy Brookbanks to bolster the Midfield.
  Danny Hayes Defender 18
Had an outstanding season for the reserves last year and received managers player of the year, will be hoping to push on and challenge the established centre backs for a place in the team this season. .
Steve Brearley Goalkeeper 28
Former Notts County youngster Steve was signed two years ago from local side Burton Joyce. Steve claimed the number one spot immediately and has retained it for the most part ever since but lost it after Christmas last season to Ali Barcherini.
