Jepho’s press conference was the talk of the town at Carlton Town

A new signing, a Uefa coach no less, enter Soggy and now Jepho’s team could finally strut there stuff on the big stage. Well so we thought particularly with Champagne Ray back between the posts but it was not to be, the Upsetters had other ideas. All soggy had to show for his efforts were a red face, a purple nose and he consumed a can of carling offered him by Mark Steggles at the end at a fine rate of knots. The Upsetters quietly slipped away, 5-0 winner they had done their job.

There was an excellent win for the Mod Squad who beat Archer Electrical 5-2. Champions MSR Newsgroup had a convincing win beating Kapital One 7-2. Kapital One made MSR work hard for their win with their goalkeeper in the second half outstanding, but MSR Head Office boys John Hickling 3, Ashley Winfield 2 both finished well. Andy May would not have scored if had played till midnight but brother Chris scored a fine brace himself too in MSR’s win.

New Era started back with an excellent performance putting 5 past Beersoloner with no reply while the Brickyard Boys also scored 5 in their win over benchwarmers, 5-2 that one finished.
